Erase Large-scale Leves from Ishgard

They’re only there to consume your time and also your levels+leves. Even now I’m having great difficulty leveling even with moogles just by crafting since it takes 10-12 Collectible Turn-Ins just to hit another level.

It would be nice if Heavensward didn’t require so many mats just to craft something at Lv 50, and have a ridiculous Craftsmanship requirement saying you need to have hit end-game ARR crafting.

Why do they need to be deleted? Just don't do them.

Theres a vendor in Ishgard that sells NQ 50-60 crafter gear, do your regular leves, daily GC turn ins, Moogle Beast Tribe, weekly Zhloe turn ins. Personally, i find that Collectible Turn-Ins are better for gathering than crafting.

Yes. That it the intention. Yoshi-P wants to allow players to be able to log in, do a few leves, and log out if they do not have the time to play. The rewards are less than doing single leves x 10 and that is the trade off.

The bulk leve's were a bad attempt to make combat leve's worth something. We don't even have combat leve's 60-70-80 so they resigned to that failure. Bulk was eliminated after HW as well so they accepted that as well.



Based on your Lodestone profile, I can understand how you are getting frustrated. Your gear is hobbled together and you would struggle to make anything at your level. What confuses me is, you have 70 Miner and Botanist so you should be able to gather HQ for your crafting level at leisure. You have set yourself up well, you just haven't seemed to cash in on it.

You get screwed in the ass because the only thing you can make are COLLECTIBLES, which give negligibile XP. Not to mention, farming a shit ton of Mythrite Sand just to get anywhere. I can understand that being part of it, but it's something I don't like. I lost all my leves because I was dumb about the Largescale, and I'm stuck at 53 just doing Moogles and whatever Collectibles come my way.

There is one thing large-scale leves are great for, and that's amassing certain crafted materials that can be annoying/costly to produce or purchase from the MB in bulk like Hallowed Ramie Cloth.

Just wait for something you need to turn up on a multiple turn-in large scale leve then reap the rewards.

The biggest frustration I had with 50-55 collectable was, there was no static recipes. Once you hit 56 you could rely on Ramie cloth, Titanium Ingots etc. They looked like lower yield but they were always on the list unlike the other ones that moved around. My comment though was more directed at your gear. Use the time to try and craft some HQ tools and accessories. Also try and pinch out some HQ Baked onion soup. These levels are hard because you are CP starved through the entire phase.

If you have a lot of CP left over from this, you can start trading the Hasty touch in for Basic touch and Precise when you get good proc's. Based on how much CP you have.
Baked Onion soup is in your reach and makes a big difference.



You are in some of the roughest waters when it comes to leveling crafting and you are doing it with NQ gear and apparently no leve points. So it's not a bad idea to just step back.

To your original, title point, those bulk turn in's are just bad math. Once you clear this level pocket it gets much easier.

Mavrias said it, ill restate it for emphasis. Grand company supply and provisioning missions. Theyre worth 1/8-1/2 a level per day per class you do them with. Your lodestone profile says youre a flame lieutenant, so you clearly have them unlocked. And in a couple levels when you can unlock Zhloe, shes worth insane exp once a week(as are the other 3 custom delivery clients) along with some scrips. As for "ridiculous Craftsmanship requirement", well youve passed ARR end game crafting whether you did it or not. You should have those stats. If your gear is as bad as Ksenia said, cranking out or buying a set of the level 53 gear(holy rainbow coatee and friends) to correct your stats will probly help more then you think.
