Yet another housing thread

I've been trying to get a plot for 2 days straight, barely sleeping, clicking like crazy, lost all 4 to a person randomly walking in at the right moment. I'm trying to get a plot for my FC, which is more clicking than for personal housing so you're instantly at a disadvantage. So many other MMOs can do instanced housing why not FF? Increasing the size of the wards or adding more doesn't fix the problem, it's a bandaid on a massive gushing wound. This system needs to change, asap. Every free company should be able to get a house, it's retarded. I've never been this salty in my entire life and let me tell you, I am the saltiest seaman on the seven seas. Good luck with plot hunting, I'm done.

Increasing the size of the wards? Wouldn't fix the issue. It'd only make server-burden even worse than it already is.

Instancing housing? It'd defeat the purpose of Outdoor sections of your house. No reason to make it look pretty on the outside if nobody'll ever see it.

Every FC should be able to get a house? They can. You're entitled to a CHANCE at a house. Not a house period.
If everyone got a house, then it would quickly lose all appeal. There would be little reason to invest and effectively work to make your house look good to onlookers when everyone can do it. The fact that housing is limited only works in its favor.

Uh, you would see the outside of your house. Your visitors would see the outside of your house. I decorate for my enjoyment. If others get a chance to see and enjoy it as well, great, but I'm not doing it to show off to others.

The lack of the outdoor area in instanced housing not being immediately visible to someone randomly walking past the plot who probably doesn't even care what it looks like is not an issue.

MMOs won't operate long if the key content and features that attract new players are reserved for a select few who got lucky first and everyone else loses out. You're also ignoring the fact that nor everyone can or wants to do it, and that people have different tastes and ideas about what looks good. Making housing available for all would only be a problem for the special snowflakes who stop feeling special because others now have what they have.

I'd be perfectly fine with every other player in the game who wants to own a house getting a house to enjoy. I don't feel threatened by other people being able to enjoy the same content I enjoy.

If housing would lose its appeal to you because you no longer have something exclusive, that's your problem.

I have a medium in brynildr, transferred in 2016, #600 in Queue when Shinrogane released so i didnt get a house out there. Found 1 in the mist, several monthes later found a open small in Lavander Beds, a week or so later the house next to my small in the mist was vacant, so i moved the one from LB to the mists as well..So now both houses are side by side. However it wasnt a 1 day thing it took over a year to get my first house moving to excalibur, and several monthes for the second. Just Buy an apt and use that until a plot opens up.

We really don't care about making the house pretty for others, we just want a place of our own that we can customize and hang out in

If that is the only thing you want, there is an apartment and friendliest teleport.

Since we would be already putting loads on money into it we want to do the otherwise gated content - a workshop and a stable. The apartments are not the greatest.
