Multiple FC Houses!

I'm on Lamia and I was looking at the Residential District The Goblet. There is an FC that owns TWELVE houses in Ward 3, Plots 31-60. How is this possible?

An FC can only own a single individual house. If you see multiple houses owned by the same FC tag, it's because there are multiple separate FCs using the same tag (name must be unique, but tag does not need to be).

Often this will be an FC that has some extra "shell" FCs for the extra resources and such available, for the purpose of high-end raiding and the like.

It is possible to own 8 FC houses on a single service account on a server because SE still has not closed that loophole...

Just look for Mew FC on the housing forums, they own nearly an entire ward and they aren't shy about it given their signatures.

While I don't agree with Mew and other people that do this and act with abhorrent behavior, blame SE on this. It's even in their own information put out by SE that people prior to a certain patch number wouldn't be affected, and stacking that on top of how people are getting around it - yep, blame the developer for this.

Then they say that housing can't really be expanded because of resources. That is due to lack of resource management by allowing this to take place. Don't hate the players, hate the game.

They cannot close this loophole because they have to allow FC leadership to transfer to someone who is active in order to keep the FC alive so it does not get destroyed or an inactive leader remains leader forever. If the FC is in a situation where the automatically appointed leader already has a house and it goes to yet another inactive person, then there will be lots of frustration when people's inability to play prevent that process from happening cleanly.

this FC actually has over 20 houses total which is... kind of ridiculous but nothing we can do about it.

Some FC's have members roll alt chars and those make micro FC's with matching tags. Every account is currently allowed ownership of one personal house and one FC house per server but some accounts are still grandfathered in and get 8 houses per acct per server they already had.

Only the personal house restriction is still in place. The FC house restriction was removed for whatever reason.
