Auto Travel

Ok, Ok, I know all you immersion lovers won't like this idea or maybe even others might call it lazy but one of my Linkshell buddies thought this was a pretty cool idea.

What if you don't have any anima, or need to get somewheres on a chocobo and it's one of the camps but you need to go to the bathroom, go fix something to eat, or just have to afk for 5-10?

Wouldn't it be cool to set your chocobo on auto-run? He follows a predetermined path that follows the roads that are on the map depending on which camp you set your destination as. It wouldn't be bad because all the paths don't have many mobs on them. This is just a personal opinion that I thought would be cool.

We can also have a type of system like feeding your chocobo to do these autoruns. Like you have to feed your chocobo 10 gyshal seeds.

If you don't like it, ok. Don't take your hate out on me.

I love this in many other games, i wouldnt really care for if not added (which is likely) but its pretty helpful.

Make them using those Chocobo carriages we see in the world, only they're super expensive, and you have to complete a quest to unlock certain drop points.

I'd be fine with this.

I like the idea!!

But my experiance with auto run type things in games is eaither you get stuck randomly & glitch or somehow something manages to kill you from a mile away. so it'd be wary if they ever did have this.

That's what I thought the caravan system was lol. Then it wasn't. I wouldn't mind paying for this.

Or you have to feed your chocobo, let's say 10 Gyshal Seeds for every auto travel.

In a step to abolish anima for the most part. I think auto chocobo would be cool, but still only to points youve clicked with I guess using the now defunct anima pool. In ffxi we used target lock and auto run for this. Hell I watched full tv shows on this setting getting somewhere

Well Anima shouldn't be abolished... but that's a different subject lol. But I was only talking about the paths/roads built on the map already that can get you from camp to camp. Not (12,20) to (5,4)

Chocobo taxi service should be available at camps. Though getting from point A to point B would not be instant. Instead, you would watch the Chocobo run there. It could even be a red Chocobo, which can travel much faster so the ride wouldn't take too long.

Yeah definitely not instant lol. Anything to get us from camp to camp if we have to afk or surf the internetz
