I paid for the 3 expansions might as well at least the the MSQ done, although the one dimensional characters and bad story telling is giving me PTSD too.

I'm almost certain you don't want me to reply with anything except, 'yeah, you're right, this game is dreadful'.

However, on the offchance that I'm wrong, Thok AST Thok Extreme hasn't been current content for a number of years and isn't part of a roulette so your wait times will be high. No extremes are part of roulettes and neither are savage raids. If you want to do that content, I would suggest trying party finder or asking folks in your FC if they are interested. Maybe join a Discord for your data centre. Queues for current content and/or roulette content are fine.

It's also fine that you don't care for the story. A lot of people think differently, and the story in Shadowbringers has been particularly widely praised. But you are entitled to your opinion of course - and I don't think you're interested in hearing why I and many others rate the story so highly. That's not a short answer, after all, so there's little point me giving it if you're not wanting to engage with it

Thok ast Thok Extreme is two expansions old. On top of that, the newest expansion just came out and most people are either doing the newest expansion content or doing the MSQ to catch up to do the new content.

Old side content, like Extremes, Diadem, Eureka, etc. are not populated enough right now to use DF for them. If you really want to do such old side content, you have to run them with your FC and/or set up a Party Finder.

I was hoping they had fixed these issues over the years and maybe you or others had any tips on getting older content done.

Maybe the newer expansions have better story but Ishgard was dreadful drivel. I am going to start Stormblood next week, we shall see.

Someone is going to be very disappointed Except Bardams Mettle at least it was unique.That said stick with it cause the post MSQ for Stormblood is actually better than most of the story and Shadowbringers is really good.

I gave you two tips in my repose: have your FC help you or set up a party finder for the content you want done.
There is also a third tip: counting on the job, you should be able to solo older content at level 80 using the "Undersized Party" feature within the DR settings menu.

If you wanna do an extreme use party finder. No one's queueing for Ravana EX.

The issue is that there is an easy fix for this and i thought that was pretty obvious.

Solution: Prioritize if someone queues up for something the first time, fill his party with Duty Roulette people.

Can't be that hard, now can it?

That’s an extreme you queued up for. That isn’t in the duty roulette so you have to wait for other people to queue up for it. Which means level/item sync. Most people at this point would do it unsync via party finder. Give that a try.

It’s not really an issue, people just aren’t doing years old content the hard way anymore.

Extremes are only in mentor roulette and not that many people run that. There is no way roulettes will help you do them unfortunately. Valid suggestions have already been given.
