90006/7 errors occurring only after waking computer from sleep

So I'd been having issues with 90k errors and tried everything under the sun- VPN, talking to my ISP, tracert, port forwarding, every article and forum post about 90k errors I could get my hands on, I did.

However- I noticed one day that when playing the game after the computer has woken from sleep, vs. playing the game after a restart or a full shutdown, the game doesn't experience a 90k error, period.

Maybe this isn't the best place to necessarily ask this question, but can anyone help me make sense of this so that way it's not an issue when I wake my computer up from sleep? Sure, the solution in this case is simple, but I'd like to try to understand the issue behind this.

I suspect that a restart or a full shutdown does something to my network settings, but I'm not super well-versed in this.

Can someone possibly help cast some light on this issue for me?
