Ninja question

How does everyone feel about the mudra system?

It's been a while since I've played Ninja but I picked it up recently and I feel like its still suffering from the same issues with clipping your abilities with mudras. Is there a reason they have a recast time or is it the animations that are making it hard to do a Ten-Chi- Raiton or other combos in between the GCD?

Mudras have a built-in mini-self-GCD. This is by design, because when Ninja first came out they didn't have that and people who lived close to the datacenter (read: in Japan) were able to do far, far more DPS than other ninjas. So they evened it out.

I just hate that it's still a 3-step system even after the changes they made to it to even the playing field. It'd feel better if they purged the 3rd one (Jin).

Having fuma and raiton is pointless, they should eliminate raiton, buff fuma to raiton's damage, make hyosho work off fuma when kassatsu'd, and make suiton/huton a 2-step instead.

So like this:

-Ten = Fuma or (Kassatsu) Hyosho
-Chi = Katon or (Kassatsu) Goka
-Ten + Chi = Suiton
-Chi + Ten = Huton

If they purged raiton, buff fuma, if they purged doton, buff katon (or make katon drop a "fire" AoE on the ground after the burst and merge doton into it). TCJ would need a rework. Idk this will never happen anyways, but 3-steps on high ping feel bad and fitting kassatsu + hyosho X2 into TA windows sucks.

Alternatively, if they decided to do none of this, they should rework TCJ so you don't have to press Ninjutsu after every damn Mudra.

It seems they may have went to far in the other direction IMO.
