Smith npc won't give me the mentor status

Hello. I've recently hit all the requirements to get said mentor status

1: Complete 1,000 dungeons, raids, or trials.
2: Receive 300 player commendations.
3: Complete any level 80 tank role quest. (dark knight)
4: Complete any level 80 healer role quest. (scholar)
5: Complete any level 80 melee DPS or ranged DPS role quest. (summoner)

the Smith npc, after listing said requirements (which I've completed, and I also checked my achivements which are all completed) repeats "speak with one of the smiths to recive your official introductions to the ranks of mentors" over and over again, with no new interactions, doesn't matter which one I talk to. And checking for anything new in my search edit info, I am still not a mentor. I have no way to progress, please help.

Edit: managed to do it after logging in and out quite a few times

the issue has been resolved, logged in and out a few times and it worked.
