Spoiler: Question about the Crystal Exarch

Where is his tail?! It's easy to see how he hid his ears with that hood of his, but what about his tail? Will we see it later on?

It either crystallized and fell off or it is hidden under his robes, like Y'shtola's tail is in the cgi trailer.

Hidden somewhere under his robes, presumably. It does look bulky enough around his waist to be covering it up.

And before anyone starts getting horror ideas that he's lost it somewhere along the way, there's this from the MSQ 'In His Garden':

Though given that he seems to have abandoned the "hidden identity" thing at the end of the story (having apparently been a hundred-year plot specifically to prevent us from recognising him) it would be nice if he can show his tail again too - though at a practical game-design level it might not look all that good with his robes, especially if it's been modeled with the specific thought of the tail being underneath.

I was thinking it a.) Crystallized like you said, b.) Was hidden in his robes, c.) Wrapped around his waist, or d.) Was hidden with magic. It would be nice to know which it was XD for lore purposes.

From Moren's quote that I posted above, I'd guess it's just hidden and he tries to keep it close to his body, but occasionally it sticks out enough that you can see his robes draped over the shape of it.

"Wrapped around his waist" isn't going to work. Don't forget it's an actual body part with bones in it - a continuation of the spine, basically. You can't just fold it sideways.
