I don't see the problem with that Iaijutsu and Tsubame-gaeshi (Tsubame-gaeshi = Hissatsu: Kaiten + Iaijutsu), it's overpowering 36-> 56k, it shouldn't be overpowering either.
Know the fight and use it wisely.
We are already above everyone except BLM and up close.
This cast time has never been a problem since SB, it's just a shot to take.
This would be great. The number of times I've had to cut off my cast or took a hit because I didn't want to delay my rotation by more than I already was going to is insane. Currently SAM already feels a little weak due to its pDPS not being much higher than (if not equal to) DRG while having no rDPS (unlike DRG) and having to constantly delay our rotation due to casts is just depressing.
2 things:
First our pDPS is BARELY higher than DRG, and most of the time it is actually equal due to delays caused by AoEs and movement interrupting our casts.
Secondly we had ONE casting ability in SB, we now have an additional that is used immediately after the first, which means we need 4-5 seconds of being able to stand still so we don't interrupt our cast and extend how long it will take before we can line everything up again. You know this, not sure why you think "knowing the fight" somehow addresses the issues a melee range caster faces in AoE and movement heavy fights.
Tsubame-Gaeshi being instacast and not needing to be used immediately after the previous iajutsu would make Samurai feel a lot better for certain.
Of all the problems Samurai has... this really isn't one of them. The lack of Sen management (Hagekure, we miss you) and Shoha being useless, Samurai's overall DPS being a little low are all much bigger priorities.
Shoha is hilariously bad, as predicted. It makes up 0.5-0.8% of the top Samurai's overall damage, losing to Higanbana's initial hit and barely above Enpi. The majority of players can safely take it off their bars and not notice any real difference.
