foreword the only credentials I can give for my testing purpose is the hours I have put into the games.

SS - very very good might be slightly OP (meta)
S - perfectly balance and playable the goal (meta)
A - Playable
B - needs buffs
C - needs thematic adjustments.
D/ or lower - needs massive adjustments.

Tanks
------
PLD - S tier it is the only tank left the other three are glorified meat shields that dps
DRK - SS very good dps/meat shield
WAR - S tier holm is very powerful
GNB - SSS tier needs some major sustain nerfs or dmg nerfs it is too well design....

Healers
---------
SCH - A its doing kinda pathetic but still a healer
WHM - S tier very strong
AST - SSS tier needs adjustments it is too strong.

Melee
-------
Nin - S tier very good mobility and power
Monk - A tier, it is strong but there are better choices
Sam - SS tier the dmg is insane but not broken
Dragoon - S tier, SS tier with battle high

Range
-------
BRD - S tier feels good, plays well.
MCH - A tier it needs some slight potency buffs but it feels good.
DNC - was recently nerfed with that said SSS tier still because of the mobility and utility not necessarily DMG.

Casters
---------
BLM: SS tier, if you get battle high though SSS tier, and extreme battle high I would place this in the God-Tier might need a slight potency nerf but takes skill to play it so still on the fence.

RDM: A/S tier you need to be in melee to many times to be effective and the barrier is too weak if that gets buff we see potential they also need an instant cast chase spell.

SMN: B/A/S tier it is all over the place depending on the form depends on your kill power, you got some utility because healing down/dmg up but the potencies are just not there it plays very awkwardly... Wither also needs to not be a cone but rather just make it tri disaster.

I've been mostly playing AST in FL and feast and I totally agree that they're amazingly strong compared to other healers. I don't think they need a nerf though. I just think the other healers need a buff. Too few already don't want to ever heal in PvP.

The changes to PvP have been very heavy on the damage. Even some additionals that helped to sustain were straight up removed. To compensate I think it's good that healers have more healing capabilities. AST seems like the perfect benchmark for this. They're still killable. Catch them in a stun with purify on CD and they're going to most likely die. Especially if it's followed up with a silence.

WHM and SCH just aren't in a good spot imo. If we're in a team fight and I go down and there's only a WHM left to heal, the rest of the team is likely going to wipe.

In conclusion, yes AST is strong. Please don't nerf though. Buff WHM and SCH. Thank you. :)

I have to agree with you on SMN after having just played it. I'm not a good SMN player in PvP but I realized that there's really nothing I can do when I have a melee or tank on me. They can just sit on my face and destroy me.

At least with RDM there's displacement and corps a corps that both have a form of CC and BLM can AM, AoE sleep people and heavy/bind as well. Being the only caster with no CC feels pretty bad tbh. It might be better in feast since there's other teammates always nearby to heal and peel, but in FL's that's never promised.

Really sad tbh. I was really looking forward to playing SMN for a long time.

Agreed! It's funny, our summons have large wings, but have no ability to transport us anywhere. Something like a jump would be nice.

I'd add a knock back effect to wither. Just to make it suck less and for laughs. Or make it ranged and use banes animation. Maybe a stun when you first summon Bahamut, so he doesn't feel left out compared to Phoenix.

I'd also add a burning DoT when you summon Phoenix in addition to the regen. The flames of rebirth are still fire after all! Then allow you to summon Bahamut OR Phoenix instead of always having to summon Bahamut first, depending on what you needed at that moment ( instant stun or over time effects ).

I'd remove the debuffs on both dots, and increase their potency by a lot. Can't even kill someone running away with less than 10 percent hp before their natural regen heals them. They feel really weak. Applying them is more annoying now that their instant somehow. Felt better when you weaved bio after miasma.

I miss instant cast ruin 3. Chasing with weak DoTs and energy drain just isn't the same.

Our burst still feels good. If the general flow was a little smoother, and we traded the utility we have ( regen, light damage buff, healing reduction) for what we need like a movement skill or enough cc to avoid needing a movement skill, I think we'd be in a very good place.
Also again, increase the damage of our dots and let us spread them from afar! Punish those who think their numbers gives them safety. I think AOE suits summoner flavor.

Holmgang is good, but war self sustain is pretty awful because or nascent flash's party target requirement and "burst phase" that can last up to 15 seconds with inner chaos x3 and fc x3. Add in 3 gcd combo and youre looking at 20 seconds plus before you can get any sort of heal as a war , and path heal is awful.

Path heal is even more awful considering how many times you have to dealy gcd combo to fc or inner chaos.

They need to make nascent chaos self targetable or attach a self heal to inner chaos.

I wouldnt mind a potency nerf or burst nerf to get some self healing back as a war.

SMN in Stormblood used to could solo all classes in PvP, they definately gimped the class, AGAIN. Went from trash and awkward to play in pvp (pre trance) to excellent (stormblood) to trash again. It also makes no sense while the main consistent damage ruin was changed back to the PvE version. Energy drain barely does anything damage wise besides jumping into the trance which is literally just one big blast, that's not going to bring anyone down enough to do anything relevant. Why is it so hard to keep SMN consistent? Either it's too strong or laughably weak. Why does this class go through the most incompotent designing over and over again. If SCH is the problem for god sakes remove the class from SCH and rebuild it. Anyway don't agree with BLM being god tier, hardly anyone runs them because they're so easy to handle by not just the tanks, but every other range class. I usually melt BLMS with my MCH or GNB and they never seem to do much back besides one explosion and then running after they realize they're screwed lol. I personally think all the caster classes are pretty weak in PvP compared to the physical classes. MCH straight wrecks all the casters.

Back to SMN, healing AoE has a strong potency but I mean? this is a dps class, why have they turned it into a useless part time healer class? I mean if they wanted to put such a big emphasis on the phoenix heal MAYBE they should have allowed us to trigger it when we wanted or atleast gave us charges for it. As is we traded damage to be an awkward healer, wtf.

The thing that frustrates me the most is the AOE heal situation. WHM used to be the only job to have one in PVP, and they decided to get rid of it but then gave AST one.

How about we make it a bit more fair and either a) give all three healers an AOE or b) remove it from all three.

Right, except some jobs right now have objectively poor damage like SMN I really think they need to just increase the potency of DoTs because right now they don't even outdamage the health regen people get when out of combat. I was on my DRG, got really low HP, jumped back and bolted away but saw I had two SMN BE dots on me. I was sure I was dead but once I dropped combat and the HP regeneration kicked in, I was fine.

SMN dots are just completely bad. Increase the damage of them.

It has nothing to do with SMN’s damage output, it is most likely you are hitting the wrong target on the Frontline. Especially if you are attacking tank that comes with built in 30% damage reduction. If
