Cutscenes
I'm sure you have all heard this before but the dungeon cutscenes at level 50 (the 2 you have to so as part of the main quest line) are really bad. By the end of the 2nd dungeon I was just about crying. You can't even skip them!
I have 2 questions,
1. If I run these dungeons again, Castrum Meridianum and The Praetorium, will I have to watch those cutscenes again?
2. Is the entire game going to be like this?
Thank you.

1. Yes.
2. No, never again you will see a comparing amount of cutscenes in dungeons, just the intro, boss spawn, victory scene and perhaps an aftermath after leaving, with some exceptions with multiple boss spawn scenes but nothing on that scale like this two dungeons ever again.

There are no other dungeons with actual story during the run itself. In the past you were able to skip them, but that lead to people who were playing these dungeons for their main quest to watch the cutscenes while the rest skipped them and killed the boss. By the time they came out of a cutscene, the next started immediately for them, and thus they didn't get to see anything of the dungeon after getting near the first boss. Because of this they changed it to make the cutscenes unskippable, so new players actually had a chance to experience the whole dungeon, and they drastically improved the rewards you get for running the corresponding roulette (praetorium gives you over half a level worth of XP, no matter what level you are, on lower levels it's close to a full level)

Thank you so much for your quick responses :)

Yeah, they heard all the complaints about the way the cutscenes were incorporated into those dungeons(the second one in particular) and changed their design philosophy going forward. The level 50 raid series has some of the same problems because it was designed at the same time(a couple of the steps have an intro cutscene, 1-3 story scenes, boss appears scene, and victory scene), but the raid series is also optional. The story for it is good, but no one will ever force you to play it(and most people who would tell you to play it would tell you to unsync it anyway). Going forward there will still be dungeons that are heavily involved in the storyline, but theyll play out differently. Rather then interupt the flow 15 times as you go, youd more likely see a cutscene(or two) before you enter the dungeon, standard flythrough, boss appears, victory pose, then aftermath scenes as you exit. You get the story across without hurting the flow of the dungeon.
