Food Question

Hello

I made some Rolanberry Lassi today, it gives a perception boost. 12% up to 15. I tried it on my miner and botany 50 and didn't get any tastes from it, just well fed. In fact I tried all the perception food and nothing...

I even took my perception down to 8 with a weathered axe and no perception gear on, and still no tastes...

Whats causing me not to get any benefits from the food?

You only get the "tasty/divine/etc" boosts when you get closer to capping out the bonus from it. If my math is correct, you need 125 Perception before the food in order to get the max +15 from Rolanberry Lassi, which would result in you getting the "divine" bonus. When you wear no gear and have 8 perception, the food is only giving you 1-2 Perception, which is far from 15 and won't give you any tasty/etc message.

You are getting benefits from the food, you just aren't capping out the bonus. Try Rolanberry Cheese or Cream Cheese, they have bigger % bonuses but cap out with lower perception, but they might give you more Perception than the Lassi does.
