Construction Permits and Housing Interior Model

I'm having troubling finding any information on this. Is the interior model of a house (the finish, ceiling, and pillars lining the walls) tied strictly to the area it is built in or can you actually change it by using a construction permit from another area?

If I have a Mist construction permit, can I use it in Goblet to get a housing interior that matches that of riviera style houses or am I stuck with oasis style while in Goblet? I know that you can completely remodel the exterior to match housing of a different area, but that has no effect on the interior model, so I'm also assuming that there is no way, if any at all, to change the interior without demolishing and rebuilding it enitrely with a different area permit?

The interior model of the house can not at this time be changed, the permit makes no difference. I'm pretty sure you can only use the permit tied to your area anyways.

They lifted the restrictions on EXTERIORS in SHB. So you can use a Goblet style house in the Mist etc, but so far as I know there's no way to change the interior layout stuff. A shame this would be a neat addition. Though I can see why adjusting it may be trickier than swapping out exterior parts.

It sure would be nice to be able to customize the barebones interior more. Just because I want an Odder Otter exterior does not mean I want the interior pillars, windows, etc.
