Can Log into Game but not the Mog Station

My friend and I started playing FFXIV and were tryin to set up the recruit a friend stuff between like 6 people.

MY FRIEND CAN NOT LOG INTO THE MOG STATION BUT CAN LOG INTO THE LAUNCHER TO PLAY FFXIV ONLINE. He is not Misspelling Anything. Unfortunately this friend also is having an issue where it says his birth date is wrong when tryin to reset

But tell me, How is it the Exact same Log-In Credentials for both The Mog Station and FFXIV Launcher for the Game Work on 1 but not the other, WHEN THEY ARE THE EXACT SAME THING.
