Typo in 'Shedding Light on the Myth'

Date Encountered: July 13th, 2019
NPC: Mao-Ladd, Il Mheg (11, 19)

After accepting Shedding Light on the Myth from Qeshi-Rae in The Crystarium, speak with the NPCs as directed until reaching Mao-Ladd in Il Mheg.

First, after speaking to Mao-Ladd, he has this line in his dialogue:

Lest you wonder, it's a shred of scaly skin. I spotted in this area, Timh Gyeus, after noticing rub marks on the trees and rocks.

---

The sentence split sounds unusual to me, but I am not well-versed enough to name what exactly what seems wrong about it. I am unsure it's intended to be structured this way. But this is an aside; I just thought I should mention it alongside what Mao-Ladd will say if you speak with him again after that conversation:

I spotted in the skin in this area, Timh Gyeus, after noticing rub marks on the trees and rocks. Please collect it in my stead.

---

I believe the line is meant to be 'I spotted the skin in this area'.
