Retainer on a long trip

I was starting to wonder why my retainers were taking so long on their ventures. Recalled and sending them back out gave me the same time.

Thats one wierd error.
Did you send them out for the same item? or did you try to send them out for a different type of venture to see if that resets timer?
Know its hard to see with that long time but does the timer actually count down?
