A random thought about Dancer

I'm not able to test it myself atm, but has anyone tried sharing Standard Step to two party members? Closed Position and Standard Step both have a 30 second cooldown, while the buff lasts for a full minute. Since we're recasting Standard Step on cooldown anyway, might it be possible to share it to two party members? If you were on top of it, you should theoretically be able to keep two people buffed with a damn near 100% uptime.

I have tried and in order to CP another party member you have to end the effect. As soon as you do your partner loses their SF and buff.

So in other words no you can't buff 2 party members.

Ah, I thought something like that might happen. I was rather hoping that once you applied SF, it would stick to them even if you removed CP, but I did figure there was a chance that it wouldn't.

Thank you, good to know. Bit of a shame as juggling dance partners would add a bit of depth to the dance. I suppose it technically still could have some depth if you routinely swapped between one person who has huge burst but not much between burst periods, and someone who just has naturally high sustained dps, but i don't know if that would be impactful enough to be worth the bother.
