Eureka Relic - Future

This isn’t going to be a rant on how bad Eureka was. If that’s what you want, there are lots of other topics for that. If I’ve duplicated an existing topic, I’m sorry. I’m happy to be shown the right spot.

Ive always been a little bit behind on my relic, finishing Zodiac in patch 3.1 and Anima in 4.1. I’m a little concerned about Eureka Anemos onward, as many of us want to finish, our even start our 4.0 relic.

I’ve taken it upon myself, with some help, to lead my FC through Anemos grinds. We listen to Final Fantasy music on Spotify and do lore trivia to pass the time. However, even with a full party, buffs and Eureka Tracker, we struggle to get fates to spawn or beat them.

We know the grind has always been there, but with less and less people in Eureka, the brick wall at Anemos, makes my team very worried about the next three sections.

If anyone has any tips that go beyond the Eureka Tracker, mob locations, or buffs, please share. We’ve tried to a cross world PF, but people are saying it’s a waste of time.

Please FFXIV team, if you read this, can you please address how you might help the rest of us get to our relic? Eureka is unique, but perhaps there are adjustments that can be made, drop rates? Spawn frequencies? Difficulty? I don’t wanna leave a relic behind.

I for one love the lore of Eureka and it’s uniqueness and though the grind to level 20 has been rough, we are making do.

I made it up to Pyros before 5.0 dropped. Every time I've checked in since then, it's just been an empty instance.

Anemos I think should be the easiest. My experience has been that it's the least dangerous, easiest to solo mobs there. The NMs do indeed scale to how full the instance is, but you'll probably still need to have a bit of knowledge about how to handle them. You'll likely be stuck with farming the lower levels ones, as the higher ones may prove nearly impossible without a much larger group.

As it stands now, tho, I personally won't even bother trying to solo anything. The risk of lost exp is just too great to bother now that there's nobody around to rez.

Thank you for your comments! Yeah, we’ve had to play it really careful with the EXP lose danger, but since were in Anemos with nothing; nothing ventured nothing gained, haha! I’ve been in Anemos every day at some point and the max we had there was 9 people and 6 were with me. We will kill what seems like hundreds of individual monsters before either something pops or we give up. I did levels 1-13 pretty much on my own before other joined and it’s been tough since.

The team has never left a relic behind in the past, and I really hope that they don’t this time around.
