So my only friend/FC mate that plays the game has less time to play so I thought I better start looking to make some new friends else I’ll end up getting bored and end up leaving, and shadow has only just started

I guess I should start with a bit about myself - I’m UK based (more for time awareness than anything else) Mid 30’s into reading and video games, MMO’s (obvs), interesting TV show or movie sci-fi and fantasy my fav movie is the Goonies, I like some anime sadly don’t watch it like I use to, I tended to play most evening/weekends.

I’m kind of a laid back, sheepish, until comfortable than louder once, out my shell type of person, People who take content way too seriously the whole GoGoGo mind scope probably won’t get on, a game is for fun at the end of the day RL can be stressful enough so no point dragging that into Eorzea.

I mainly play PLD(74), RDM(80) also have an AST(70) and will be levelling the new jobs later (I won’t say I’m the twelve’s gift but I think I know what I’m doing ^^ )

I guess you could say I’m a casual kind of gamer just doing duties and DoL, however, won’t shy away from trying harder end game content, just lacking the experience.

I’m looking for either a group or a person even a Link Pearl network, to have a laugh with, spend some of my game time with be it just fishing or running duties, Dungeons, events, chatting I stuck as DOH so being able to chat to people about it would be helpful. Also up for doing old contents for glamour’s etc running the current content also, I don’t even mind dabbing into some RP with the right people or just hang out enjoying the scenery of Eorzea and the First.

I'm in my late 20s and my other half (also plays ffxiv) is 13 years older and we have members in the range of mid30s+ we love the more relaxed and chill members and the GoGoGo mind scope is not Rogue Instincts choice of play, at least for me and a few members we love exploring all the map and side quests during msqing as it gives an insight into the lives of the population. Progression should always be done at a persons own rate though so we do have those that progress fast but they understand if they pressure anyone they will get their head on the block ;p ... I love that you have all roles covered (tank, heal dps) so you can slot yourself into a party easy - that makes gaming in this game with others so much easier and you get more of a feel what other roles are going through when you do that.
I have anxiety so I understand the shy/sheepishness before opening up.
I love reading, my Goodreads 2019 challenge is at 53/52, it has been my favourite media lately. I've never seen The Goonies :o but I have always wanted to as I see it around often enough. Currently re-watching stargates! Ahhh I didn't know Jason Momoa was in Atlantis I thought he just popped up in GOT so that was exciting to see he actually isn't a new actor.
