BECOME THE DARKNESS SCREENSHOT SWEEPSTAKES (THE “PROMOTION”) OFFICIAL RULES

KEY RULES

A. Official Rules: The Official Rules for this Promotion consist of both (i) these key rules summarizing the important rules for participating in the Promotion (the “Key Rules”) and (ii) the Additional Promotion Official Rules (“Additional Rules”) applicable to your place of legal residence. Please review the Additional Rules at the following URL:

B. Territories: This Promotion is open only to individuals who are legal residents and physically and permanently located in one of the following countries/territories at the date and time of entry (the “Promotion Jurisdiction”):

• The fifty (50) states of the United States of America, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
• Canada (excluding Quebec).

C. Age Limit: This Promotion is open only to individuals 13 years of age or older at the date and time of entry.

D. Entry Period: You may enter the Promotion only between Friday, July 12, 2019 at 12:01 a.m. (Pacific Time) and Friday, July 26, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) (the “Entry Period”).

E. Entry Procedure and Limitations: In order to enter the Promotion, you must complete the following steps during the Entry Period:

Step One:

• Take 2 (two) screenshots depicting your Final Fantasy XIV character shifting from the light to darkness.
• Each entry (“Entry”) must contain two (2) screenshots only.
• Entry screenshots may include the use of the group pose feature.
• Each screenshot may only be submitted for consideration one (1) time and all duplicate submissions of the same Entry screenshot shall be void.

Step Two:

• Submit your Entry by first following @FF_XIV_EN on Twitter, and then posting your Entry on your Twitter account (Twitter accounts are available for free) and by including the following in the Twitter posting:
  • Both screenshots within the same Twitter post
  • Your character’s name and world stated in the caption (This character will be receiving the prize)
  • An “@” mention to @FF_XIV_EN
  • You must include the hashtags #FFXIV and #WoDSweepstakes.
  • Your selection from one (1) of the available prizes below, stated in the caption:
    1. Scarf of Wondrous Wit
    2. Ahriman Choker
    3. Mandragora Choker
    4. Bluebird Earring
    5. Noble Barding
    6. Gaelicap
  • Comment (optional)
  • You must not include any additional personal information in your Entry.

• Additional Entry Limitations:
  • One (1) Entry per person. If multiple Entries submitted by the same entrant are posted, only one Entry submitted will be considered.
  • Only (1) character per screenshot. Screenshots cannot include multiple characters.
  • Please be sure to carefully provide the correct spelling of your character’s name and World. If we cannot confirm your character’s name and/or World using the information provided (for example: because of a misspelling in your character’s name and/or World, because of a character name change / World change, etc.), your Entry will be invalidated.

F. Winner Selection: The Sponsor (listed below), or Sponsor’s designee, shall select one hundred (100) winners from among all entries using the following methodology:

• Sponsor shall select winner(s) through a random drawing from among all entries.

G. Prize(s):
Each winner shall receive one (1) of the following prizes of their choosing:

• One (1) Ahriman Choker (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)
• One (1) Mandragora Choker (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)
• One (1) Bluebird Earring (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)
• One (1) Scarf of Wondrous Wit (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)
• One (1) Noble Barding (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)
• One (1) Gaelicap (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)

Sponsor will deliver the selected prize to winner(s) on or about August 9, 2019.

H. Winner Notification: Sponsor, or Sponsor’s designee, will notify winner(s) on or about August 9, 2019 via email and/or in-game via the Moogle Mail.

I. Sponsor: The sponsor of this Promotion is Square Enix, Inc.

By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound and abide by these Key Rules and the Additional Rules applicable to your place of legal residence, and you represent that you satisfy all eligibility requirements to enter the Promotion.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS PROMOTION. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. YOU MUST HAVE LEGALLY ACQUIRED ACCESS TO FINAL FANTASY XIV PRIOR TO THE LAUNCH OF THE PROMOTION. TRIAL ACCOUNTS ARE ELIGIBLE TO ENTER.
