Does closed position stack?

Does closed position stack?

I entered into a dungeon last night with another DNC and they partnered with the healer, I partnered with them. They told me to partner with the tank because closed position doesn't stack. I'm pretty sure it does, and can be used with another DNC. Can anyone confirm if I was right or wrong?

Only stacks with another dancer, but no one else.

Yes, two DNC can Closed Position each other and they both receive each others effects. You will have two Standard Finish buffs.

Stuff I'm not sure about:
- I'm not sure if Devilment stacks, but since that's not a buff you have up 100% of the time, that's easy enough to stagger the usage of.
- I haven't personally tried to see what happens if multiple DNC try to Closed Position the same person.

wrong i have been in an 8 man with 3 dance and a monk and we all used closed on the monk the only one im certain doesnt stack is devil. i know standard step sstacks but im not to sure on tech step.

the monk will only receive one instance of the standard finish buff,

when dancers partner each other they receive their own buff as well as one other dancers (you can only have 1 standard finish buff from outside)

I've noticed that with two DNCs that Standard Finish stacks however Technical Finish and Devilment over wright each other.

correct, so if your partners with another dancer try and arrange so one uses their ts and devilment after the others for a 40 second opener XD

Devilment overwrites, so you have to stagger it, resulting in effectively double duration rather than double potency.

Multiple DNCs can CP the same person but that person can only have one active SF buff so it will just be overwritten by whoever used SF last. Best of multiple DNCs to CP different ppl.
