Trust System: Only alone?

I'm trying to figure out whether my friend who hates doing dungeons with DF queues, can bring me along for the ride into the Trust System.

It says "Do it with up to three NPC allies", which suggests you can use Trust to fill out party slots in an undersized group, but I've found an unofficial post on it saying single players only.

I feel like the description of Trust is either misleading or poorly elaborated, depending on which it is.

Its only for solo sadly. Wont let you do it if youre in a party of 2 people

Annoying. But then, it's a RL friend, so it just means I can sit behind their computer, and give an explanation on each dungeon boss in person.

I think the Trust system is outlined crystal clear.

It's also been explained in order for the AI to work, it can only be 1 player.

No.

It says "Up to 3 AI", suggesting you can bring one or two players with you.

It needs to say "With 3 AI", which doesn't have that subtle confusion to it.

I don't care what the explanation is for the limitation, I care that they've been unclear on that limitation.

When they introduced Trust they explicitly said that it will be for one character and the rest TRUST NPCs. However, if you haven't been paying attentions to the announcement the English describtion is misleading. It is very clear at the german Translation as well as the original one (as far as I know). So the blame is putting with the translator - if at all.

And yeah, Gula pointed already, that it was explained why it wouldn't be possible to change this anytime now. However, you can always request this to be changed and if enough people support this, chances are, that SE at least looks into this.

Id be just happy, if the Trust System would get adjusted in so much, that the NPCs should also receive EXP from killing enemies, once you have played through the story and you have to level them up again to unlock their side stories.. because in the current iteration of the system, they level way tooo slow, that it feells like a hell of a grind, because they earn alot lesser EXP than you the player...

The exp they get ist alot lesser than what you gain from killing all the enemiers and the bosses..

example Holminster, you gain on a run like 4,5 Million+ Exp around, the NPCs get only ridiculous 2,5 Million, but require the exact same amounts of Exp to level up, as like your character does.

This should be changed to the same leveling speed pace like your character, so that they level up same as fast as you and should have no disadvantage over your character.... only because your character is THE hero, shouldnt mean, that we have to level up faster than the NPCs ..

And remove the Level cap, so that we can do theoretically Holminster for example with a Level 80 character to speed up a bit the runs, to kill enemies faster, so that we can train and level up those npcs a bit faster...

Its mindboggling how long otherwise the fights last, despite the NPCs having already overpowered unique skills or buffs to increase your skill powers temporarely
