Admittedly, i was not watching it every single day, but it is my impression that Dalamund changed in a maintenance period from its previous much smaller incarnation to the current size.
This isn't a HUGE detail, and i may be nitpicking some, ... and i also realise that much of this cannot be revealed for the reason 'Mystery', etc...
But it would be nice if the object Dalamund could change in more of a 'real time' basis. Maybe not minute to minute, but instead of 'by the patch', would it be very difficult to alter it slightly on a more regular basis? say, also at the 'a' 'b' 'c' patches?
If one wanted to be even more 'sneaky' about it, an unannounced patch of the Dalamund animation file at any available time?

I actually like having it only update with major patches. I like knowing that every patch, we're seeing our impending destruction getting closer and closer. It wouldn't feel as special if it just got 1 pixel bigger every couple days. I'm already pumped for 1.22 simply because of how much bigger it got with 1.21! I want to know how much of the sky it will cover! :eek::eek::eek:
(I do like your idea though, I just personally like it with each patch! Yay for people who like Dalamund anyway!) -
