G-Sync messed up since hotfix

G-sync worked out of the box with this game until this newest hotfix.
Before hotfix: I turn on gsync for fullscreen + window, and I had indicator enabled.
with fullscreen AND borderless window, gsync would display and it would lock frames to 143... this is proper.

after hotfix: I turn on gsync for fullscreen + window, and I had indicator enabled.
Gsync ONLY displays when running fullscreen and DOES NOT display at all with borderless window... however, both do NOT lock the frames at 143 like they should be.

any help / ideas / suggestions at all?

Have you tried Nvidia Inspector to cap frames at 143?
