RIP to the guy waiting for an hour going back to home server only to miss wedding

I'd like to take a moment here and give a moment of silence to the random person yesterday who couldn't make it back on time for their friend's wedding because the queue to return to Exodus was over an hour long.

People were just waiting next to the aetheryte talking about how long they have been waiting etc... My friend for example was waiting 50 minutes then had a 9k error, only to have to relog and start over.

To those of you planning on attending something important, do not leave your server.

Now, a moment of silence.

I've been stuck on another world for over 6 hours. Someone who was 1st in queue was stuck for the entire time as well. The queue never moved.

It seems that the queue for returning to your home world takes lower precedence than the queue for logging in. So the entire 2k login queue in Leviathan had to clear before I could return. And you don't have full access to the game's features in another world. So you're screwed and have no recourse in this situation.

TLDR: DO NOT USE WORLD VISIT IF YOUR SERVER HAS LOGIN QUEUES.

Probably would have been faster to make an alt and get escorted there. Lol but yeah. Sucks for that guy.

The whole weekend I had virtually 0 queues, the bigger one was 30, wich took.... seconds?

Not really a great idea to do a wedding within the launch window of an expansion.

You're asking for stuff like that to happen.

You didn't play on Sunday did you? The login queue window was between 30 minutes and an hour and a half. World visit system going back was almost 2 hours.
