What do you want for Theming options?
So, obviously, the new Light theme has been released with Shadowbringers, bringing a new System config tab. But as is, the place is looking pretty barren. I think we can expect to see more in the future, and not just new themes, but new ways to modify the User Interface as a whole. So i wanted to see what you all would like to see as far as modification options. I'll go first!
First of all, i'd like to see a classic theme. Whether that be based off 1.0's UI, or something similar to the Palace of the Dead menus. I'd appreciate either, but i feel like the former would fit the majority of the game better. Hell, even if it's just a color scheme change, to make the menus blue with a silver trim, and otherwise exactly the same as vanilla. No matter what way they'd take that, i think it'd be nice.
But, i did say more than just themes. So, what do i have in mind? Well, first of all, different Hotbar icon shapes! Circles! Diamonds! Octagons! I don't think you'd be losing much info just by cutting off slight pieces of the icons, so why not? It'd add a nice lil bit of personality to your hotbars however you'd like.
I'd also suggest the ability to customize the colors of your parameter bars (outside of the colorblindness modes). Want pink HP? Yellow MP? Puke Green TP? (Wait, nevermind that last one...)
But for real, i think it'd be neat to customize the Parameter Bars how you like. On a side note, it'd be neat to be able to separate the two from each other, but that's more of a HUD layout option than theming.
Aside from that, i'm not particularly sure what else could be added. If you have any good ideas, let me know because while these are okay, there's not particularly much.
