Is there a lore explain how People from the First could trade with the source?

Seem bizarre how a trade between stars is possible.

Pixies can travel between worlds. That's about it, they can take property between the source and the first.

Did you just blow through quest text without reading it? One of the very first MSQs explain it. Pixies can travel between worlds. That’s why when calling retainers in the new areas summons the Pixie instead of your actual retainer.
