Serious question: does anybody know if Square has responded to the 5.0 DRK feedback?
The class feels very, very bad. Similar to others I almost fainted as I watched the video detailing its changes when the embargo lifted, but I did want to wait until I actually played it myself to make any final judgmdnts. Well, I did just that yesterday and I actually felt myself getting kind of angry as I did dungeons because of how boring and watered down the class is now.
I actually ended up getting off of the game a lot earlier than I usually do just because of how not fun DRK was. And it has always been my favorite class by a landslide, it's the only class in this game I truly adore (or rather, adored) playing. PLD and WAR are alright (have them both leveled) but something about DRK always made it king to me.
I really hope that Square has listened to the feedback (I hear that the JP folks mainly have the same complaints as most of us)
and accepted that they have indeed failed at DRK's rework, and have a fix planned for tge immediate future. Honestly, if they don't repair this class, I can't see myself playing FF14 for much longer after I beat the story of Shb. It's just not enjoyable.
