Problems with Launcher
I couldn't start the game (Kept getting error code 11035) so I could update for the expansion, so I uninstalled the whole thing and decided to just re-download the launcher, but now when I start the launcher, it gets the screen with Region and language select and when I press ok, the screen blinks and just goes back to region and language select. Help?

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
Both of those errors stem from connection problems with the server. The game was hit with a DDOS attack a little bit ago and we've been experiencing some congestion due to the high player count. These can contribute to the errors you have experienced. Have you been able to make any progress since you posted this?
We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!

No. After uninstalling the game, making sure the folders was completely uninstalled as well as the folder in my games, I downloaded this : gdl.square-enix.com/ffxiv/inst/ffxivsetup.exe
From there, I get to the screen that says: Final Fantasy XIV Select a region and language. When I click accept, the little box flashes, then goes right back to Select a region and language. Nothing has changed.
Iv tried running it in admin, I even tried windows 7 compatibility, unsure what else I can do.

Thank you for the reply.
Please try making sure the game is allowed through the fire wall. If you are attempting to connect to the game through wifi, please connect directly to the router. We are still experiencing a DDOS Attack which may be the cause of why you are experiencing connection issues. Please use the following link to stay updated.

Iv disabled my firewall, and I am connected through router. I ended up downloading the launcher on a different computer and had no issues at all. So I copied the square enix folder in x86 and put it into my x86 on my cpu, and tried to launch game again and ended up with error 11035 again. Still ruining into the same issues and I feel like I am pulling my hair out trying to figure this out. Game was running fine before the update.

Please don't close my post, as this issue is still not fixed. I will respond when the issue is fixed, but until then, if anyone has any sort of suggestions, please help. Thanks
