Effect of skill/spellspeed on unique weaponskill and spell recast timers
With the addition of several weaponskills with a greater than 3s GCD:
Gunbreaker:
Sonic Break, 60s
Gnashing Fang, 30s
Monk:
Six-sided Star, 5s
Machinist:
Hot shot, 40s
Drill/Bioblaster, 20s
Air Anchor, 40s
Does anyone anticipate a greater importance for skillspeed tiers to be met for these jobs?
The only one I've played at all seriously is Monk, and Six-sided Star looks like a finisher-style move for breaks and downtime and it's cooldown is applied to all other GCDs after use and I think it's a load of crap.
But MCH looks like it's been largely revamped and GNB is of course new. I haven't looked into potential rotations for either of them, but does anyone think skillspeed could affect said rotations?
Edit: I know Bard has had Empyreal Arrow (which is changing to an ability in 5.0), but I also basically don't play BRD.
