You mean goodbye bishop turret and hello upgraded rook?

Rook isn't going anywhere. He'll still float around until you hit 80 and he evolves into the most powerful chess piece on the board.

Hubby made all the FFXIV Jobs as Cats [photoshop/Filter.] He did MCH with Bishop since its truely dying. RIP BISHOP.

Awesome that is great news, but the accomplices still stands as my Lala friend will be a Viera after the expansion lol

At least we'll still see it during synced content

I will greatly miss the ability to toss out a turret and explode it in my friends' faces in town. Sadly, only Bishop can explode without a target.

I hope Bio-Blaster works like Flamethrower does, so I can now spew vomit on my friends.

From media tour info its just a cone aoe about the size of spread shot if not slightly wider. None of that garbage lock in place kinda stuff.

Mechanically, that's cool and all, but mainly what I care about in the context of this thread is whether or not I require a target in order to use it (i.e. whether or not I can use it in town to do dumb stuff).
