Direct Chat Problem (Yet Again)

Third time I've posted here regarding this same Direct Chat issue. (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...28Continues%29) So I log into the game and am unable to move using the A or S keys due to them instantly starting chat in the Alliance and Say chat respectively.
Previously a moderator had instructed me to remove a folder within the FFXIV ARR folder (NOTE: it also resets all character changes, macros, UI changes etc). It works but shortly returns. I would love a more permanent solution rather than some ad hoc work around.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Does this issue happen when using a different keyboard? What have you tried so far to alleviate the issue?

I only have one keyboard. As far as what I have done to alleviate it - just as other mods have suggested. I initially just tried to turn the direct chat on and off but to no avail. I then deleted the locally-saved data folder. Which worked initially but the problem returned. I last thing I tried was to remove all keybinds that involved the ALT key but given that it was only a day or so ago when the problem arose again , I'm not sure if that is of any help or not.
