Alt's failed attempt to login..Need help.

I have two alt's that when I try to log in with them I get "Unexpected Error has occured" (16a). I even tried to upload their data file to server and get same message.

How long have you been experiencing this issue? Does it only happen on two characters? What have you tried so far to alleviate the issue?

Yes this happens on two of them. I haven't logged into my alts until now and just noticed the problem. I am not sure how long this has been like this.

My main character logs in fine and two other alts I have log in fine as well, but for two others I have get the Unexpected error message and closes out the game.

They are all on the same server too. I even tried to upload their character info and save to server but it will crash.

Were any updates (mandatory or optional) made to the PC? Could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'

The only thing I have done recently is to uninstall my Avast Antivirus yesterday which was causing regular 90002 disconnects during my game time. Window updates do occur about once or twice a month. I think last one was about a week ago

If it's only happening on those two characters, you may want to try removing the locally-saved data folder (located My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV). If there is a corrupt file associated with those characters, it may be causing the crash.
