/countdown command does not show all messages in chatlog

Info for the test, though the bug happens regardless of all of these:
Class/Level: 70 Warrior
Party or solo: Solo
In-game time: 7:37pm
Area and coordinates: New Gridania @ 13.2,13.8

Steps:
1. Type "/cd" to open the countdown UI.
2. Enter "30" and click start.
3. Watch the chatlog. "Battle commencing in # seconds!" appears every 5 seconds, then "Engage!". This is expected behavior.
4. Type "/cd 30" into chat, without using the countdown UI.
5. Watch the chatlog. "Battle commencing in 30 seconds!" and "Engage!" are the only lines that print. The messages every 5 seconds show up in notice text in the middle of the screen, but do not appear in the chatlog.
