Riddle me this! (For everyone whos bored while waiting for 5.0)

I've started to see the usual pre-patch-boredom-threads come out of the woodwork and I get it! There is nothing to do ingame right now, nothing left, all primals all slain, all savage-fights beaten and everyones inventory has been cleaned up to prepare for all the new materials we'll get with Shadowbringers!

So, I thought I'd share something with anyone who would like to do a last "quest" in Stormblood - its something I made for my FC last year and they had some fun with it, so maybe one or two other people would like to try aswell!

It is... a RIDDLEQUEST!

Below you'll find 8 hints that will lead you to 8 spots in one area* of the game - which one? Well, you gotta figure that out using said hints!
Then you need to find the coordinates of said hints. That will give you 8 dots on a map. By connecting those dots you should come up with a shape (might be a bit rough, but should be good enough to figure it out)! That shape is your answer!

If people are actually end up being intrested in this, I'll obviously post the solution to the indivdual riddles aswell as revealing the shape in a few days!

*area = one map of the game, like South Shroud, Western Highlands, Hinterlands, Rubysea etc.

I was thinking about doing this until the reveal that there were no bonus points.
