Today I was in Ul'dah near the NPC for the Paladin job quest, and suddenly a pair of Venerer's Bracers suddenly appeared in my inventory. I don't have archer leveled, and I definitely don't have the bard job unlocked. I notified a GM about what happened, but didn't get a reply before I had to log out.
I'm guessing that AF gear for a job you haven't leveled or unlocked isn't supposed to randomly fall into your inventory!
The Venerer's Bracers are an lv35 drop from Old Six-Arms, not AF gear. I don't suppose you were in a party with someone killing Old Six-Arms, were you?
