Stand aside "Raiders", the race for World First Ishgard Restoration is on.

Whichever server has the most omnicrafter bots is probably going to be the first, I'd assume.

I'd like to hope they had the sense to impose some manner of restriction to keep the system from being abused by such players, but I doubt it.

Hopefully the tools you can get really stand out like the Ultimate weapons.

It sounds like Hamlet Defence, but without the defending part.

Im not gonna aim for world first or even first, i just wanna get some high ranking and maintain it.

I am going to try to be first three times over. :3 I hope bots can’t compete, otherwise it might take a while for me to place. :( Though I do like the idea of just maintaining a high ranking, I want to push Ultros to be the first on the data center to restore ishgard.

So, if it's tied to diadem, which requires a FC airship, are they finally going to remove the awful restrictions on FC crafting?

I don't think there's really any way they could make the system 100% bot proof, but I think the fairest scoring system would be to make it so:

1. You get scored on each day of the season, and are allowed to turn in as many items as you want, but only the one with the highest collectability will be counted each day.

2. You are only allowed to see the scores of other players from the previous day to prevent people from sniping (Botters cannot abuse their infinite supply of resources/time nearly as much if they have no idea where they stand in relation to others).

3. At the end of the season, the daily scores are tallied together and players are ranked accordingly.

I not-so-secretly hope they fuck this up and the winners are *all* botters. I want that egg on Yoshi's face for refusing to do anything about bots.

The problem with that is that the STF doesn't seem to be able to pick out the obvious botters that are active 24/7 and listing thousands of infusions on the market right now, so even if the winners cheated and had like 20x as much points as the legit runner-ups, they'd probably just think "Boy, those guys sure are dedicated".

Even just a cursory glance at the top FCs in the Lodestone FC rankings oft makes it painfully obvious as to which of them are bot farm FCs.
