So with all these healer changes could SCH get a Physick II, it's not what you think.

So there are all these healer changes going on, and while I'm not happy about them, I have accepted them, I think. Anyways, among these changes I've noticed a lot of people saying that they're gonna be upset that they can't macro Embrace to Physick to have you and the fairy heal the same target at once. So my thought was why not just give SCHs a skill to do just that, hence Physick II. Nothing about it changes from the regular Physick, it's just a way to still tell the fairy to heal a specific target.

So what do people think? I personally don't see it as a game breaker, but maybe I'm wrong. Thoughts?

That's...Not the same thing at all. You could make Lily heal a specific target while you were doing something else. Making it so that using physick to force Lily to heal your target really wouldn't help, since if you are using Physick, chances are Lily is already healing them as well.

I never used an Embrace macro, so I can't say I knew 100% what it was. My guess is based on what you said is it more of a PC/keyboard and mouse thing. I mean a heal you cast that forces her to act too, isnt so bad. Just maybe it needs to be a different method.

Its not only a keyboard and mouse thing, Broil being 2.5 secs is enough time to target someone and tell eos to embrace them during the broil cast. ATM the changes of pet abilities to ogcd and embrace no longer being able to be targetted is a net nerf to scholar that I'd like to see undone.

It makes your 400 potency heal...A 550 potency heal, while absolutely forcing Lily to heal the person you already are. While that might have some merit if you are healing the tank, any other target makes it less valuable in the long run.

That that I've done before, but not often since I play on controller. Mostly cause the tab targeting for allies and enemies are controlled by different buttons.

Well great now people are gonna think I don't know what I'm doing just because I didnt do something 90% of people did, T.T

I wouldn't use the forum userbase as a standard for the people you want to impress.

nah healers are fine. lets wait a couple of weeks play and enjoy and feedback cause healers are in an awesome spot right now and we need to test before we crucify the role

Yes, we got all these awesome new mechanics and abilities to look forward to. SE clearly poured a huge amount of effort into them.

That’s the beauty of a good design though. You don’t have to use it optimally and it still works for you. But players who look to optimize and get closer to the class ceiling have the option.

Things like weaving your ogcds instead of clipping your gcd etc.. all add up over time but aren’t inherently required.
Same with dot uptime, using miasma II, using shadowflare. A lot of players ignore or don’t really manage that part of their toolkit but others have the option to. We’re kinda being robbed of our options this expansion.
