An idea for an ffxi cross over event.

I am on my cell phone so I will be quick. Make an event questline that requires us to do spmething to get ffxi artifact gear for our classes.

Whether that's fates.. Boss mobs.. Eureka requirements etc.

What do you guys think?

There was already a XI crossover event in Heavensward. Dunno if/when they'll do another.

Probably won't as this was meant to promote the final expansion/Main Scenario of sorts to FFXI.

Yep I know. But why not another?

That would be a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooot of stuff to attach to an event. I would definitely like to see the armor made available, but I see no reason why it would need to be tied to an event.

I think it would be more likely for them to use FF XI's sets as inspiration for FF XIV's AF armor sets. They already have to varying degrees, but perhaps they could lean far into FF XI's direction for future designs. Going full FF XI if you will. I wouldn't mind that.

We've already had two crossover events with FFXI (the first involved Shantotto and gained the player a Shantotto minion, the second featured Iroha and gained the player her outfit), so I doubt they're going to do a third one (FFVII is the more likely crossover event in the future). It's funny how everyone seems to forget about the Shantotto event. :p

Also there is already gear from FFXI found here in FFXIV besides Iroha's outfit (the Koenig armour as the 'Wootz fending set' and the Ares armour as the 'Wootz mail', and the venerable Scorpion Harness and Verminion Cloak), so more FFXI gear finding it's way to FFXIV is always possible, although I doubt FFXI AF would be a part of that (let's not forget FFXIV's AF sets have the same names as FFXI AF gear like WHM's 'Healer' set, so if it did hypothetically come here, they would need renaming at least).

And the Iroha event has happened twice. So far as I know we've had a FFXI related event 3x already lol

Might bring them back like they did with that kid anime I cant remember the name of for the life of me.
