Bare in mind just shareing my opinion. XD
With all the new info of the new/updated/removed job actions/traits, of course comes with the backlash. Personally, I feel that we shouldn't be dimissing a job outright just because the may have removed one of our fave/more used actions(Flash,Contagion) or altered others to be far different then what we have become used to. I myself personally feel it's best to save judgement on the jobs till we can actually get our hands on them first. Too truely be efficient and a main in a particular job you would be able to take it to it's potential no matter the deficienties. I myself am a tank main(PLD) and SMN side and am interested in seeing the new changes. Hell I'll be leveling all of them to 80 anyway so I'll be experiencing all changes nonetheless. Wait to reserve judgement for when the expansion is out, if you don't like it then , then just swap jobs. :cool:
Who else is ready to experience the changes first hand and embrace them!?

Most of the people that are waiting to try it out (such as myself) are generally staying quiet because we have very few comments regarding things we've yet to try, which necessarily leads you to only see the comments from people spouting doom and gloom and/or the occasional excitement.
"Lets have a thread for the people who are waiting to try the changes out for themselves" is likely to be quite a boring/dead thread.
The thing I'm looking forward to the most is the removal of nearly every DPS' aggro reduction skills (I hope they remove it from Lucid Dreaming as well, for DPS at least). Now I can FINALLY judge peoples' DPS based on the enmity bars. -

They're likely to fix major potency issues (Combust 2 and Combust 3 being the exact same damag), than overhaul systems at this point.Quote:

Oh it's this thread again, the "we can't criticize the things we don't like about the game we like".
We criticize because we care and we care because we like the game.
Let me take a moment to say that the animations and art has been topnotch so far. I am really looking forward to playing the new expansion.
If you were here before stormblood you would have seen the criticism of in particular white mage and how pointless their lily system actually was and how badly plenary indulgence was thought out.
But they also thought that the lily theme was kind of cool.
People were right. It got patched into an acceptable state before the raid tier launched, though a glance into the direction of the lily bar was still pointless.
I don't want overpowered jobs, I don't want underpowered jobs. I want to enjoy my time playing the game as much as I can. -

There are some changes that I question but there is A LOT that I'm excited about. I'm retaining my criticism until I can actually get my hands on the game and try it myself. I also think people fail to realize that everything that was revealed could change before the actual release of the game. -

I only started this thread to try and coax out more positive reactions to all the news as all I've seen were mostly negative, lol. I have been playing the game since the start of 2.0 when it released on PS3 finally. Bar it off and on at times. I have seen this stuff all over including tumblr. As far as here on te forums I only really became active on here as of a month or two ago. Xd
I know right?! I actually started as tank before moving around cause of the frustrations. This having bee my first true MMO to invest in. XD Was a rough patch early but grew to love PLD and love the direction they are going. Yes, there are things that will need to change like the reliance in using Flash and the combo specifically for enmity generation. All in allI am looking forward to jumping back on my PLD and eventually grabbing GNB to be my secondary tank main. ^^ I can't say a whole lot when it comes to healers as I don't play them too often . SCH being the only healer I normally would use being a SMN DPS-main. All in all I hope the controls do feel more streamlined and not too complex. Especially since I primarily play on controller.Quote:
