I'm really glad about that. Plus with the new skills/weapons it's seems like SE is actually trying to emphasize the "machine" part of the Machinist. As I was in Stormblood, I am pumped for MCH in Shadowbringers.

All I can say is, I'm glad I decided to level this at the last moment.

Yee no more RMG, no more management Heat, buff, turrets, timers dmg burst, no more ammo, no more skill require to play, no more skills on hot bar, no more fun form playing this CRAP - What you have DONE YOSHIDA? Mch now don't have any support abilities and DMG because all buffs are for monk and dragoon. Where is my 121323 burst combo? where is my perfect timing for wildfire with buffs overcharge with trick attack where is my dismantle, palisade, mana song, i understand its support so i have less dmg than other classes but i have some to do, now its BORING 1,2, 3 wait to heat reach 100 and spam 1 BUTTON for 8 sec. - Flame and bio are useless - they do nothing in raid tier - you can remove it form hotbar. In general MCH have 8 Skills for savage and 2 of them have very long cd. I'm Salty - Yoshida delete all fun form mch making him class for pepegas form WoW with no dmg and utility (and no gameplay because spam 123 its not a fun).

For me those stuff never was complicated at all. It was just being very self aware on what is going on.

For me MCH is probably the most easiest Job to play as since it is just a heavy weaving skill job.

Heat is easily managed as long you use Cooldown between 75 to 95 heat and the RNG for 123 combo was just something there for the sake of making MCH unique from bard because Bard did not have a 123 combo skill.

Wildfire timer burst is easily timed if players use it when their off-GCD skills are all ready so they can weave into the 123 combo with ammo to keep it up with 123 combo.

If anything, MCH is still the same just no more RNG and you have to time the new Overcharge attack in my opinion. The new Wildfire may perform just as well once it is tested.

You know...clunky doesn't equal complex, right?
machinist isn't hard to play, it's hard to have fun with. especially if you have any ping
there's a reason it was the least played job for SB

I understand the fear of making the game too easy/boring but take it from someone who moved over from wow, we're nowhere near that level and nothing i've seen in SHB looks as baby mode as Legion-BFA
