Shadowbringers Preview: Dancer, Lvl 73 Dungeon, Trust System, More

Hey guys!

My boyfriend got invited to go check out Shadowbringers and his preview is now up! Read on to find out more about the Trust system, new dungeon (kept spoilers to a minimum; basically only name), Dancer, and much more! Let me know what you think and I can't wait for the expansion to release! :)

Haha you're welcome! I literally spent HOURS just absorbing everything about Dancer!

^if you want more indepth about the job skill, you can check many ff14 youtuber out there, many of them got invited to somekind like behind the screen play or something, and they are showing each skill for each class.

If it takes 40 minutes on average with the trust system to clear a dungeon, you might as well just queue duty finder as a dps. It'd be quicker.

Dancer sounds interesting, but it sounds like there are probably going to be A LOT of bad ones.

Except for...

- playing through the dungeon with actual characters as companions.

- the lack of pressure to "get it right" the first time, and the ability to learn mechanics by observation, trial and error. (Wipes in a single-player game like this are a normal part of a learning experience, and I miss that aspect here.)

- the ability to slow down, admire the view and actually explore the dungeon at my own pace.

As a story experience, this is going to be fantastic.

Yeah, but from what it sounds like in the article, the dungeon was fairly generic and easy. The wipes were actually caused by the NPC's. I think it'll be more trouble that it's worth, personally.

Eh, to be fair, I see trusts being used mainly to progress the story, and even if the npcs do cause some wipes, queuing these dungeons through duty finder to progress the story is also almost guaranteed to earn you a wipe or two as well, given that the content'll be new. I see where you're coming from though.
