Vampire opinion on changes coming new actions etc

First ill start with my 3 cons

1. full removal of protect makes me question is this ff shoulda made it a Cooldown that last 59 or 30 seconds.
2 . no higher mp than 10k while physical can spam without resource management while mages suffer with more painful management.

3. blm feels like its going to be copy paste again.


Now for what im shocked and happy about

First Summoners getting Phoenix is so amazing i really surprised Yay for summoning.

Second i cant believe im saying this I hate guns and normaly hate tech but it made me want to play Mch with bio gun and that robot pet. That shocks me in a good way.

Third Drk and ninja shadow clones need I say more thats just awesome really.

And healers being pure healers will be great in my eyes.

Questionable feelings about role quest i kinda hope it will be great but i like looking up at the stars or helping tonberrrys etc in job *cry*

Next piety needed to really reduce mp cost on spells in my opinion.


but overall i didn't want to have good feelings after watching but i mostly do consindering They made me of all ppl want to play a job that i normally hate the theme of aka Mch.


with that side i wish he would of went into 8f he plans to expand are armory item inventory and normal one .... i hope he doesn't think we have enough space because we dont

That huge Paladin sword made me question if I even wanted to leave Paladin lol. Dark Knight shadow clone looks epic. It all looked pretty neat (MCH got a huge compensation gift, that mech.. good lord lol), now I'm curious on their combos though (order of actions/flow).

Quite fun to watch. Just wanted to note on your #2 point though that MP costs changed as you leveled so for many it was just a % based spell. Where in the change from where it was to 10k fixed is not really a change at all, just simpler numbers, but for those who utilized piety for increased mp.. that'll be different of course (before you might have been able to sneak in some extra spells if your MP was higher than without the piety).

MP costs are literally gonna be adjusted for casters or were you not actually watching his BLM/RDM demonstration? Also the live letter was specifically for job changes and battle system balancing, they'll talk about other systems in the LL next month.

Piety also effects MP recovery so if you are getting it back quicker, you don't really need reduced MP costs. Besides, healers still have many ways to manage their MP (i.e. Thin Air, Lightspeed, Aetherflow).

i was watching i just dont see how it makes sense for it to be percent based as well we should be able to cast more spells the higher are mp is instead of it being percent equals cost

You will still be able to cast more spells than someone who is less geared. It will just be because you regen faster rather than having a higher mana pool.

So they said healers will be pure healers but then they said WHM get extra DPS options with the lillies, so maybe not so much?

MP costs were always getting higher as the MP pool increased. Did you not notice BLM only could cast 6 Fire IVs during HW and SB?

They're not going to be pure healers all of them have DPS options they're just moving healers into the balance where they can fill all the roles instead of one healer focusing on shields or regens or both they all can fill it.
