Feature idea: Easier way to report harassment

I was wondering if there could be an easier way to report harassing players. There is a guide online about how to go through the menu system in game, see https://support.na.square-enix.com/c...382&la=1&fty=2 -- but when in a dungeon and trying to do your role job functions it's hard to take 15 minutes to report someone who is harassing you. I noticed you can right click a player and report RMT activity, but I'm not sure what that is and it says that nobody will contact you regarding it. Would be nice if you could right click report player for harassment and have the chat log sent to a GM when you do that. Would be good for situations where your in a dungeon and someone spends 30 minutes complaining about how your Item Level is barely the minimum for a given dungeon.

RMT is not to be used for harassment, you only use that when you see players spamming things related to selling stuff through a third party website, i.e. cash for Gil etc.

When you are in a duty it's best to just save the report until you get out, that way you can take your time putting in all the relevant information and/or copy and past whatever you want to mention to the GM. Also if the GM decides to contact you in game, it's quite difficult to communicate whilst you are in a duty hence why it's better to do it outside.

This is the absolute last thing we need. The steps involved in submitting a report is part of what keeps vindictive, petty people from just spamming reports. Granted, plenty of people still do it anyway but the current system weeds out some of the opportunists. We do not need soft people weaponizing reports.

P.S. This is a team based game and if your gear is garbage and prevents you from contributing, people have every right to inform you. It's not harassment unless they are repeatedly insulting you or something.

I would like an easier way to report people making sexual comments at my lalafel after I ask them to not repetitively so I support this. It would be cool if it automatically blacklists them as well.

no if your going to be a snitch it should be as painful and difficult as possible. Or you could have coman sense and use the black list system

I think the only thing we need an easier report method for is botting.

They tend to universally exhibit the same red flags (Jerky repetitive movements and overly long periods of activity) and thus shouldn't require a detailed report to get someone on their case.

To be fair I don't think the entire blame can be placed on the OP in this kind of situation. The way in which many dungeons (especially leveling) work is that there just isn't a strict enough ilvl requirement and players go in to them thinking it's acceptable to be undergeared in whatever they have equipped. Of course I'm not saying it's ok as players should definitely make an effort to keep up to date with gear, but it's a situation created by SE themselves and its often down to other players in the party to decide what to do next (i.e. advise the undergeared player, kick them etc).

Unfortunately when you ask a GM, he just answers you:
I recommend you blacklist this person, but we can not inform you of the following, blah blah blah.

In the meantime, the person who was our friend, can follow you everywhere you are like a target on a Gps.

And stand in silence, the fact that the person stalk you everywhere. Same for the ring of the eternal bond.
