Error 2002

When trying to connect to the NA Data centers Ive been getting "The Lobby server connection has encountered an error" 2002.
However when connecting to either the European or Japanese data centers i can connect and play. any suggestions on how to fix this?

System - PC
Server - Crystal / Brynhildr
How long has issue been occurring - started yesterday
Issue description - Error 2002 when connecting to the NA Data Center
Troubleshooting steps performed - PC restart, router restart, firewall check. None have helped.

I am having the problem. Oddly enough i can connect too Chaos but not Aether.

Im posting on this instead of making a second post in hopes the same solution fixes the same problem.

So i tested pinging the FF servers with CMD
NA Data Center 184.107.107.176
JP Data Center 202.67.53.202
EU Data Center 209.130.141.243

i get 100% packet loss with NA, and the other two i get good reply's from the ping.

-Try disabling background applications and do a clean boot by opening the task manager and selecting the “Start up” tab. Disable everything and then restart the PC

-Platform
-Wired or WIFI connection
-Other programs being used when running FFXIV
-When disconnect occurs/How often
-Everything you have tried to resolve the issue

TCP porting has already been done with no success.
Router and PC has been reset.
turned off firewall
checked speed of ISP through 2 programs. no problems on my end

No other programs used other then steam and CMD too ping the server
i dont have ANY access to NA servers what so ever. but i can connect without any problems too EU and JP.

Seeing as i have access to EU and JP i cant see how not connecting too NA would be an issue on my end.

I'm also having this problem. Have tried all the suggested solutions and nothing. Even before trying the solutions I was able to connect to EU and JP but not NA.

For everyone still encountering the Error 2002, when did it start happening? Was it after a patch update or was it a random occurrence? Do you get disconnected anywhere else? Is it just when signing on?

For myself it started happening yesterday, when I was trying to log in after finishing work. I had no issues from the previous nights or the past month. This all started after the patch update. I don’t disconnected when I try to sign on to anything and I can log in on any of the EU or JP DCs and make a character and play on it but I can’t connect to any of the NA DCs.

This also started yesterday for me. I had a day off and I tried logging in during the morning and couldn't login. I searched online to see how to fix it or if other people had the same problem and so far this is the only thread that has talked about it.
