Hi,
I've been looking for the answer because I reached lvl 70 and I see XP as quest reward. Unlike World of Warcraft, I don't have a bonus Gils but XP.
This XP does not go directly to my other Jobs.
Is it going to the blue experience bar for other Jobs ?
Is it going to my actual Job but waiting for the next extension ? (which is meh)
I actually don't think it's going anywhere. It's sortof wasted, if you don't need it anymore. At least I have never noticed it going anywhere lol
It doesn't go anywhere.
The only thing that makes the blue rested-exp bar go up is being in an area that's considered a sanctuary (cities, hubs, etc; signified by a moon next to your exp bar), and no one gets a flood of exp when the level cap is raised.
It goes to the big xp repository in the sky where all the other discarded xp points go to enjoy their well earned rest.
