Something wrong with this week's Blue Mage advanced challenge - a bug?

Is there something wrong with this week's Blue Mage challenge?

In the Advanced Challenge this week, there's "Enfeeble Me Tenderer" (apply 10 or more unique enfeeblement) and "Beginner Spellcasting" (use only rank 1 and 2 spells). As far as I know, "enfeeblement" include the following:
Slow (Ice Spike)
Deep Freeze (Ram's Voice)
Paralyze (Mind Blast, Glower or Dragon's Voice)
Stun (Faze, Bomb Toss or Sticky Tongue)
Dropsy (Aqua Breath)
Blind (Ink Jet)
Silence (Flying Sardine)
Silence/Paralyze/Malodorus/Slow/Blind/Poison/Heavy (Bad Breath)

Bad Breath is 3 star, Aqua Breath is 4 star, and Ink Jet is 3 star.

So the remaining 1 and 2 star skills will only give:
Slow
Deep Freeze
Paralyze
Stun
Silence

I guess Peculiar Light can be considered an enfeeblement too?

How about Level 5 Petrify? Would that work?

Even including Petrify and Peculiar Light, that's only totaled up to 7 though! How the heck do you get 10 enfeeblement?

Addle, Offguard and Heavy from Break?

So Petrify wont work since all mobs are same level as I am. But you're right I still can get up to 10 Enfeeblement:
1) Slow (ice spike)
2) Deep Freeze (Ram's Voice)
3) Paralyze (Mind Blast or Dragon's Voice)

5) Silence (Flying Sardine)
6) Peculiar Light
7) Addle
8) Break (Heavy)
9) Offguard

Now the problem is actually winning without any heals... I was able to complete Act 1, but I keep getting defeated by the add's poison in Act 2. Dodging the line AoE is already a pain. The adds just make it ultra difficult. When the adds appear, I silenced the Golem big spell. Then I tried to freeze the adds with Ram's Voice, and then Peculiar Light, and spam Plaincracker since they're weak with earth. But it didn't take them long to release themselves, and use like 5 poisons on me. Without my heals (3 star), I died almost instantly. Any tips?

I used Drain (Role Action) to heal myself. :D

That's really smart! I'll try that later! Still, I think my major problem wasn't something Drain alone can resolve. I probably need to deal with the adds with a better strategy.

When the adds appear just use Level 5 Petrify on them, apply Peculiar Light and burn them with Plaincracker. ;)

I personally did the challenge with the following:

1) Acorn Bomb (Sleep)
2) Off Guard (Off Guard :rolleyes:)
3) Peculiar Light (Mag Resistance down)
4) Bomb Toss (Stun)
5) Level 5 Petrify (Petrify)
6) Song of Torment (Bleed)
7) Flying Sardine (Silence)
8) The Ram's Voice (Deep Freeze)
9) The Dragon's Voice (Paralyze)
10) Break (Heavy)
11) Addle

Basically... You can get all 10 ailments through BLU spells... I personally forgot about Ice Spikes >.>

As for strategy...

Act 1:

Put them all to sleep > Pull Bats with OG > SoT > Blow them up with Ram's Voice > Bristle > Dragon's Voice combo.

Petrify doggo > Spam him with Bomb Toss.

Act 2:

Ram's Voice > Dragon's Voice combo for massive damage vs armourdude
Silence armourdude's magitek armour thing spell
Freezy-cheezy the adds with Ram's Voice
(Optional: Use Plaincracker to blow them up... I forgot to equip it when I did it and just spammed Ram's Voice instead)
Sustain with Drain as needed

Thank you all for the tips!

For dealing with the adds in Act 2, I tried Petrify, Acorn bombs and Plaincracker, but they didn't work too well for me. For Petrify, many adds didn't get petrified. As for Acorn Bomb, AoE attacks just wake them all up instantly. In the end, the strategy that worked for me was really the Ram's Voice + Mind Blast + Dragon's Voice combo:
- First, silence the boss's Magitek spell.
- Next, use Bristle while waiting for the adds to group up onto me.
- Then use Peculiar Light.
- Ram's Voice to freeze them.
- 3x Mind Blast (which also added paralyze on them) [this is super good as they have a long freezing time, so waking up immediately with Dragon's Voice would have been a waste. Doing 3x Mind Blast while Peculiar Light is still active is very effective]
- Run away, and use Dragon's Voice before freezing effect ended. This will deal insane damage.
- Next, just freeze them up again with Ram's Voice, do 1x Mind Blast, and then run away and do Dragon's Voice once more.
- Repeat once more with freeze and (no more Mind Blast this time) then Dragon's Voice, and they should all be dead.
- Drain as needed.

The same strategy also worked extremely well with Act 1. Fitting 3x Mind Blast between the first Ram's Voice + Dragon Voice combo while Peculiar Light is active makes a big difference. Once the two bats are dead, the doggo can't really kill you if you keep using Drain, Break, Bomb Toss etc.
