Input Lag/Controller Issues (PC)

Since last night I've been noticing an issue where my controller will randomly stop accepting inputs and will keep doing whatever it was doing for .5-1 second. This happens pretty frequently (enough to make a thread). I'm not certain what has happened but here is what I've tried to fix it.

Switching controllers: This happens on both PS4 and XBOX1 controllers.
Wired/Wireless: I've tried wireless and wired for xbox 1 controller, and wired for ps4 controller.
Drivers: I've checked that drivers are up to date and there has been no noticeable update since last night.
Restarting the game/computer: Was my first step to attempt to solve it.
Checking Background processes: There is almost nothing running on my computer (outside of discord and chrome). I've not installed or am running anything different than I was before the issue occurred.
Note: I don't use any mods or 3rd party programs. It's against ToS and I like my account too much.

My FC Mate had the same issue a while back. He attempted reinstalling the game as well as the OS. He was unable to find a solution and resorted to going back to mouse/keyboard. Before I go to that length I would like to know what I can do to get this resolved.

Apparently a wifi connected printer I got was causing the dropped inputs. I don't know why it was happening but this is resolved.
