I came back after taking a break for about a year. While I am enjoying the game quite a bit now, they changed the haymaker animation! :(
Before it used the overhead arc animation and it fit the special effect perfectly
Now its some straight forward punch that doesn't fit the special effect
It makes me sad.
This is just nitpicking but does anyone else feel the same way
it isn't a smart argument posting this the day before the animation overhaul lol :P many animation of 1.20 were just placeholder for 1.21, and i think haymaker was one of these
Oh. I see. I didn't even know there was an animation overhaul planned, there are a lot of changes I still don't really know about as I'm just getting back to the game. Well, it would be cool to see it changed back or overhauled, we shall see! I think I chose a good time to come back to the game.
Pretty sure Haymaker got a new animation with 1.20, and I don't see 1.21 changing it. It's not just miqotes.
welp, 1.21 now and it didn't change or anything. oh well, I've gotten used to the new animation
yep '-' well, aura pulse got the badass animation of the old seismic shock, so it's cool anyway

Agree with OP. The old animation was much better.
The starting animation is better than the old, but the hitting animation doesnt follow the trails of the effect.
Its a small problem IMO, I will not miss it if it never gets fixed.
Yeah, I mean it's just a minor thing, but I think it'd be cool if they switched it back and used the haymaker animation they have now for something else.
